I recently had a spontaneous stay at this lovely hotel and I was pleasantly surprised. Our room was clean and comfortable with a nice big bed, and the view across the lake was absolutely stunning. The location of the hotel was fantastic, being close to the golf course, next to both the lake and the river, and just a short walk from the village. Having a room with a balcony overlooking the lake made our stay even more special. The breakfast provided was delicious and satisfying, although a bit on the pricey side. this hotel offered great value for money, attention to detail, and basic amenities that made our experience enjoyable.
Everything was just fine during our stay.

The rooms with a west-facing view are lovely and provide a fantastic view of the lake. the hotel's location in the heart of the city is perfect for exploring the town. The cozy and comfortable bed made for a great night's sleep.
The hotel's pet-friendly policy needs improvement. During our stay, a neighboring guest left their dog unattended on their balcony, and it displayed aggressive behavior towards us on our balcony, which made us feel uncomfortable and unsafe.

I was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful decoration in the hotel's common areas. The antique furniture and elegant rugs gave a charming and cozy feel. As a senior woman, I appreciate when hotels provide comfortable seating areas where I can relax and chat with other guests. The accessibility in the hotel was also excellent, with wide hallways and ramps for easy mobility.
The only thing I would ask for a better vacation for senior people is more assistance from the staff. Sometimes the children working there seemed overwhelmed and didn't offer much help when needed.
